What is the price range of your dresses?

Our special order gowns range from $1800-$4000 with most of our inventory falling in the $2500-$3500 range. We have a large selection of off-the-rack sample gowns that are under $2500.

How far in advance should I begin dress shopping?

We recommend that you begin shopping 9-12 months ahead of your wedding date, and purchase within 8-10 months of your big day. This ensures that you are not rushed in your decision making and that there is plenty of time for your dress to come in, as lead times for our designers take anywhere from 4-6 months. However, we have reasonable rush options, discounted off-the-rack samples, and a few designers who can work with a tight timeline if needed!

What size gowns are available to try on?

Our special order samples range IN STORE from size 6-24! Dresses can be ordered in virtually any size. We have tricks to pin you into samples to give you an accurate idea of what the gown will look like fitted perfectly! Once you’re ready to order a dress, we take your measurements and order the size you fall under for that specific designer!

Off the rack size options are a little more limited, most of our off the rack samples are size 8-10.

Do I take my dress home the day I try on?

Sometimes! We have a selection of off the rack samples that are available to take home with you that day! Special order gowns are ordered from the designer and take some time to come in.

What should I bring to my appointment?

We recommend undergarments that match your skin tone. We ask that you wear underwear throughout your appointment. For the most accurate fit, it is best to try on gowns without a bra, though you’re welcome to dress to your comfortability. Measurements will be taken in your undergarments at the end of an appointment, which you may want to wear an unpadded bra for.

How many people can I bring to my appointment? Who should I bring?

We have seating to accommodate up to 6 people! Feel free to bring whoever you want! We’re here to make this experience as fun and stress free as possible, so we recommend bringing along people who have that goal as well :)

Is there a cancellation policy?

Since we are appointment only, we ask that you give us 24 hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment!

Will I need alterations?

Most likely! Special order dresses are ordered in the closest size to your body, not your exact measurements. And every body is different! We do not have an in house seamstress, but are happy to make a local recommendation to you.

What does it mean that you’re a flagship?

Essentially it just means that Barbara Kavchok is our only designer! We exclusively carry her designs. Which is amazing, because she has such a broad variety of styles! We work one on one with our designer and can slightly tweak, or full customize a design to make your dream dress!
